Terms of service
These terms govern every organisation's use of Halvert. If a signed master services agreement exists for your company, that MSA supersedes this document.

The service
Halvert provides an ops platform for approvals, budgets, and reporting. We deliver it under the subscription plan you select. We may improve, extend, or deprecate specific features, with reasonable notice for any deprecations.
Your account
You are responsible for the credentials issued to your workspace and for the actions of any user you invite. Please tell us at security@yourdomain.tld if you suspect a credential has been compromised.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Halvert to violate any law in your jurisdiction.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls or probe for vulnerabilities outside our bug-bounty program.
- Do not use Halvert to store prohibited content (PHI without a BAA, payment card data, classified government records).
Billing
Subscriptions are invoiced monthly or annually, in advance. Mid-cycle plan changes are pro-rated. Overdue invoices past thirty days may result in suspension, with written notice.
Termination
You may cancel at any time from the admin settings. We may terminate for cause (breach of acceptable use, non-payment, or at a government's lawful instruction). On termination, your data is exportable for ninety days, then purged.
Warranties
We stand behind the service. We warrant that Halvert will perform substantially in accordance with its documentation. Everything else (including implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose) is disclaimed to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Venue is New York County.
